How does the PTA support our school? Where do the funds go?

Our PTA hosts fun, family-friendly events throughout the year to bring our school community together. From Mom PROM, Trivia night and bingo to the Spring Fair, these events create memories, build friendships, and support our school in meaningful ways. In order to make these events happen, we need volunteers.

The PTA helps ensure our teachers have the tools they need to help our children thrive. We use PTA funds to purchase classroom supplies, instructional materials, books, flexible seating, assemblies and other items that directly enhance learning. When teachers have what they need, our children benefit.

The PTA supports FWES by investing in both our staff and our school environment. We show appreciation through Teacher Appreciation Week and the Teacher Discretionary Fund to start build their classroom. We also enhance our school through projects like the FWES Garden, equipment purchases, school beautification efforts, and funding for field trips.
